New to Forum
Hello everyone, I decided that it would be good to sign on to this forum, as I am always looking for answers to my questions about orchids. I have about 120 orchids, and a very small greenhouse, which I love. I think at this time that my favorite orchids are Paphs, and Phrags, but that changes with what is blooming. Does anyone know the growing requirements for an Oncidium Incurvum?

and Sorry I don't know the answer to you Onc. question, but I'm sure someone will be along that can help. There are a LOT of resources on this board, and you'll meet some really knowledgeable, warm people as well.
Good Growing,
Tony

What do you want to know about the incurvum?
The general stuff I can tell you is that the temp range throughout the year should remain between 42 as a winter night low and 75 as a summer daytime temp. In nature, the diurnal range of temperatures are about 20 degrees difference daily.
Humidity ranges between 65 and 80 percent.
They are found in Mexico (on the eastern slopes in central Veracruz, Puebla and Oaxaca) and in Nicaragua. They are found in evergreen cloudforests and upper mountain rainforests.
The most common bloom period is between July and November, but they can spike periodically throughout the year (although rare).

Thanks, for the quick answer, that is what I am looking for. I have had one for about 4 years, and I can't seem to get it to bloom. I think I will have to grow it cooler than I have.

No problem. You might want to invest in the Baker's website, OrchidCulture.com. That is where the information came from. They have tons of information on practically all species (at the time they were working on their project). I have found their information to be a useful tool for my collection.
