funny that Mr. rfenwick from Colorado said that the winter sun can be more intense...
it is also true in Manhattan...I found out that winter sun can burn plants leaves on window sills than in summers...maybe because of heaters? whereas in summers the AC is cooling it down?
my vandas love the windows in winter and I let them out on the fire escape in the spring as soon as frost is gone and its in the mid 70's

Many thanks to all of you for a lovely 'Welcome' I wish I had some nice pics of orchids to show you but I haven't yet although hopefully in the next few months I will have one or two to show you. I will take on board the comments regarding the Vanda's and maybe feed them more often. They are under grow lights but I perhaps don't feed them as often as I should. Many thanks for you feedback.
