Oh I know, I usually call them directly or email and ask. The Phal violacea in my album is a plant I got from them several years ago and now has 9 leaves and 2 spikes! It's been flowering almost continuously over the last 1.5 years.

Wow! Very impressive, I don't have anything similar, although I only started growing orchids about 2 years ago. The closest I have is Haraella retrocala whose always in spikes (3 right know) if not flowering.

My BEST one is my P. equestris 'Riverbend' AM/AOS that's been in constant bloom since August 2005 !!! Right now has 5 spikes in bloom and 5 keikis !!! They get asked for too quickly so none of my keikis have ever bloomed while on the momma plant !

I'm not sure if my Dtps Kenneth Schubert is 'Blue', but I got it several years ago from Orchids in Our Tropics. It had root rot and stuff afterward, so it's taken a while to recover, but it now has 5 leaves and is growing new roots, so it seems to be doing well. I'm still waiting for it to flower, but it's nice to see that most of the cultivars are turning out well. I bought it back then because I wanted a "blue orchid" for my collection, and the HP Norton blue violaceas really weren't widely available back then.

If Norton is the same one I'm thinking of, I emailed with him about 5 or even six years ago for the same reason, looking for BLUE orchids. He was in England or Scotland and it was WAY too much money AND trouble to get one at that time. I got this one in bloom at Home Depot (I NEVER hear the end of how lucky that was !) in '05 for $13 !! I was a novice and the only thing I knew was what I liked !!!

Oh you are quite lucky indeed. Like right now, if I wanted to find a Kenneth Schubert, I'm not sure I'd be able to find one on sale, and you got it at a great price at HD! Plus the flowers turned out so well. Some cultivars of Kenneth Schubert are very pale.

I just got a Norton strain blue violacea last year for $100. It's got 2 new leaves since, so I'm hoping it flowers soon. It's Rachel's blue eyes x mademoiselle bleu.

Actually, it just started growing a third leaf. Total leaf span is about 7 inches. I'll post photos when it flowers for sure!
