I am Olena from Toronto. Orchids are my passion. I am currently seeking for any opportunity to buy anselia africana. I highly appreciate any advice where to get it. Thanks

Hello and welcome to the OB.
Have you tried Clouds and Paramount?

Here's a link to the Southern Ontario Orchid Society, I'm sure that they will be able to direct you to a vendor.

First off . . . from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! It is great to see another Canadian here! Yes, Cloud's Orchids has a medium seedling for $10, which is pretty cheap. Of course, if you were to buy it, you would also have to buy some traveling companions!

Nice to see for another Canadian at this website!!! hahaha... Loved also their selection of dendrobiums... After checking for companions now have to check for an extra space in my apartment... Lol... I had a great collection back home in Ukraine - around 80 species from allover the world. Some of them were at my collection only. And they were blooming!!!! Now trying to restore it in Canada.

I don't know how to arrange this. I could arrange how to export it from Ukraine but I don't know how to import it to Canada. My collection is with my mother in Ukraine. She takes a good care about it. Anselia africana was my favorite orchid there. Another favorite specy was cattleya blue moon (specy, not hybrid). And the third - stangopea I think speciosa. Don't know second name for sure as owner didn't know as well. It blooms 2-3 times per year with a steam like a grape full of peach fragnant flowers. Also had couple of black zigopetaliums with purple and blue lips and couple of rare dendrobiums.
