Red face Greetings!

I just joined your board today and would like to say "hi." I am relatively new to growing orchids: my mother had a limited number of them when I was younger, I started buying my own about 6 months ago (up to about 13 now), and just separated my first plant last week. I don't know many people who are interested in growing orchids, so thought joining an online forum would be helpful. I'm hoping to keep my orchids going for many years to come and proper care will be crucial for this. I'm located in the warm climate of Florida and keep the orchids on the patio most of the time.
Glad to be here!

Thank you, everyone, I really appreciate the warm-welcomes!

Susanne, I live in Sarasota county. A good friend of mine lives in Spring Hill, though I have never been there.

I have already learned a lot here, so I can imagine what's to come. Everyone's passion for orchids is showing.
