Default New Fish

Hello, my name is Jesse Horne. i have been a long time lurker on this forum. The wealth of knowledge and experience can be very helpful to any who seek it here. Though I am primarily a reptile hobbyist, I am very much a fan of orchids. My likes tend to the tough and the small. I like tough orchids that i can grow outside year round here in southern california. I also like miniature orchids with creeping habits that will perform nicely in vivariums for me. One thing that some might find interesting is that i don't buy most of my orchids, rather i dumpster them (take them out of the dumpster). Trader Joes and Armstrongs nurseries are great places to find all manner of not just orchids but house plants, vegetables, pots, etc. I've always thought it a shame that these plants that are still living are tossed out once their flowers are done. Its also one less thing that gets to go to the landfill.
