Hi .. I'm new :)
I think I may be an orchid addict! I started with one phal - which I killed from over watering Now I have three phals and a dendrobium (I have a post about watering it and a yellow leaf in the beginner forum). So far mine are all Noids except for one that I found hiding in Lowes - Phalaenopsis Arctic Dawn - which is really pretty so I hope I can keep it alive! Anyway I'm here to learn and grow and not murder any more poor orchids. I'm so addicted that I all ready have a wish list of new ones I want to get - mostly phal equestris and sharry baby

and from Miami, FL! LOL that's how my orchid addiction started--by killing my very first orchid, a phal. I've learned so much since joining this board. The members are awesome and extremely helpful

Welcome to OB! There is a lot of helpful people here and information to keep your chids alive. And here are some rules to follow.
Rule number 1: don't fret. Rule number 2: don't be afraid to ask us anything. Rule number 3: Have fun! Rule number 4 (and the most important): You can never have too many orchids!
Psst, I just made up all those rules.
Welcome!

I have one recomendation for you... If your an orchid addict like most of us (even newbies like me)... STAY AWAY from the projects forum!! Just looking at the pics will make you want to go out and buy books, orchids, pots, pesticides, fungicides, just about everything! LOL...
