Talking Hi guys!

Yet another forum i have found

A bit about myself:
My name is Jordan, and I am 16 years old and i live in Hamilton, New Zealand, and i have been growing since i was around 12 or 13. I am a member of the Waikato Orchid Society and i am the youngest member of the NZOS to date, and as a result i now own around 200-250 orchids, mostly miscelaneous genera, and a few Cattleyas, Native NZ genera and Dendrobiums. I LOVE horticulture and beekeeping and becoming an Apiarist is one of my goals in life.

Cant wait to start posting and showing you guys what Ive got and sharing my knowledge.

Welcome! It is great to see another person my age into orchids! You will LOVE it here! Many different people into a HUGE variety of genera with all kinds of levels of experience. Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. Other than experience (which I am sure you have, hearing that you have over 200 'chids, wow!) asking questions is the best way to learn! By the way your city stole my last name!

I can't begin to tell you how cool it is that someone your age is into orchids and the like. I'm a teacher at a high school (ages 14-16) and wish they were into orchids/horticulture.
Anywho, you have stubled upon a phenomenal forum full of great people
I can't wait to see some pics!
