Hi everyone
Default Hi everyone

Hello everyone from the dry side (rainshadow) of Washington state.

I would probably describe myself as an 'advanced newbie', I've grown around 200 orchids over the years but my growing conditions aren't the best anymore and have not had many for a long time.

My sister is afraid she will kill orchids if she tries to grow them and has started buying them to give to me so I decided I'd better start posting!

Happy growing, Rainshadow

Hi Bob,

I've always thought they were a little like potato chips too, impossible to have just one.

I'm not very good at posting yet, thanks for the welcome White Rabbit. Love the cat, I used to have one very much like that, rip beloved Fuzzwort.

I also forgot to tell Bob I don't have any photos right now, only have 5 orchids at this point and all are finished blooming. How many do you think I will have after I've been on the forum awhile...? I'm afraid my next post may be 'What else can I grow under these conditions..'

Hi Joann,

People are so nice here, I'm afraid to ask how many orchids you have...
