Default Emergency situation

I just recieved a V Manuvadee FCC/AOS orchid plant.
She bought it but left it in an area where her dogs got to it. They tore off most of the long roots from it. I want to try and save the plant. I already soaked whatever was left of the roots in a jar with orchid feed for a few minutes. and sprayed the leaves. Is there anything else i can do to save the plant. Please help.

Hello and welcome.
Can you post a picture of the plant?

the first picture is of the roots. I made a make shift backet by cutting out some wire holes from a metal basket to replace the one the dogs broke, and the second picture is of the leaves those are ok they werent harmed.

I'm so not the vanda expert, but, it looks like there are some good roots left, so I would think it will be ok ...
I'm sure others will have advice for you, tho with the time is now, may be a few hours ...
I really think the plant will be ok - and certainly waiting a few hours for advice shouldn't be detrimental to the plant
take a deep breath! I'm pretty sure it will be fine

I agree with WhiteRabbit, the plant looks pretty good and should be fine. I was really expecting to see it in much worse condition.

It will be fine. A few years ago I got some dehydrated Vanda's, most roots were dead. Even dehydrated they survived. You might want to water them a more often as the root mass as small compared to the leaf mass... but as I could save those dehydrated Vanda's I'm sure your's will survive.
You might see new root growth in a month or 2...

I agree with the previous posts. I think your vanda will be fine. It will help that it's Spring now because vandas like the long days, bright light and humidity. That's an interesting basket also. I don't think I've seen one like that.

I bought a puppy a last year. I had the same thing happen to a vanda in a basket. The plant was pulled down from the rafter and drug all over the backyard. He ripped roots that were as thick as my finger and trailing the ground. A year later the roots are just as lush and trailing the ground once again.
