Smile Late Introduction :)

Well I suppose I just jumped right in without properly introducing myself. My name is Gage. I'm live in South Florida, but I'm originally from Alabama. I have been growing plants and obsessing over them since I was a kid, and growing orchids for the past 3 years or so. I started out growing kitchen herbs as a kid, then moved into bonsai from middle school into high school (seriously spent most of my time obsessing over all of my little trees). Fast forward a decade or so... I bought my fiancee a little dendrobium, and I couldn't stop after that. I married the most amazing woman in the universe, and now we have an amazing beautiful son. And 2 1/2 years into marriage the orchids have taken over the kitchen windows, the grow light shelves (originally intended for the terrariums), the living room floor along the window, and the one little tree we have in our tiny yard. Looking forward to picking many a brain, and getting to know each of you here!

Like you always here, when you run out of room for new orchids, add on to the house...

Welcome, Gage! I am in south Florida, too. It is easy to grow orchids here so you should be warned that your addiction will get out of control really quick! The biggest and best orchid show of the year (Redlands) is coming soon so be sure to check it out.
