hello!

Hi, I'm Phil, 22 years old and a chemistry-student. I'm cultivating orchids for almost 2 years and have specialized in cultivation of monopodial species from Asia, Africa and some from Australia. My favorite genera are Rhynchostylis, Holcoglossum, Renanthera and Neofinetia . I love all hybrids with Neofinetia.

At the beginning I want to show you one of my Renantheras, which bloomed some weeks ago.
I've bought is as Ren. citrina, but it isn't. I don't really know what it is. Maybe someone have an idea. By the way it's definitively not Ren. vietnamensis.

I have self-pollinated it 2 weeks ago. When the seedlings bloom like the motherplant I can be sure that it isn't a hybrid

Welcome to the Board! Glad you could join us. Thanks for sharing this. I think we have a few Vanda alliance specialists who might know what these are.

Aboard, what an interesting intro :Tup I certainly am not familiar with this type of orchid but what a charmer.

It's great to have you here and your cultivating experience brings the OB to another level.
