Talking My first time...

Hello everyone, I just found this Form today.
I'm a struggling amateur grower who would like to learn more and be more successful. It's hard to come by specific information and answers sometimes so I hope this is the place.

Hi and welcome to Orchidboard!

Don't be angry...you've just found the best place to get all the information you need from some very interesting folks

What orchids do you have now? Are you growing indoors or outside? Ask some of the questions you've got and I'm sure a few of your two thousand new friends will be able to help

There's a great gallery loaded with pictures of some of the most gorgeous orchids you've ever seen! You can post your own pics too...we like that kind of behavior around here

Chat room usually gets started around 8pm EST...stop by and say hello

Hello again.
I have a varied collection of Vandas, cattleyas, phalaenopsis, and dendrobiums.
I grow them in a screened in pool enclosure with a covered porch attached.
I'm not much on common names of the orchids, but I'll try to learn.
Here is what is currently in bloom.

Welcome to the Orchid Board! I think you will find that here on the forum 90% of the time you will get the answers you need, and 10% of the time, you will get clues as to how to find those answers.

Aboard Angryfish....it's great that you hav found the OB and a huge amount of information awaits you from newbies and their experiences to our veteran's who love to share the knowledge it takes to grow these lovely orchids.

From Casselberry, not far from Orl, centrally. The Central Florida Orchid Society has a group (Cultural Study) that gets together once a month on the first Thursday where beginners and experienced growers alike meet to learn how to grow orchids. Come join in as a guest or member a fun group.

We all have struggled many times during our orchid growing it's how we learn and gain the confidence that keeps the wallet empty and the shelves full

Glad you have joined the OB community

Oh by the way....we do love s
