Hi Denise & welcome to OB
I also bought several rescues from various places. I learned and lurked like you. But since diving in both feet I have learned so much more. I joined my local Orchid Society and have been able to add to my collection and have found bargins at the Orchid Shows and have won numerous plants from the raffles at our monthly meetings. If you are able you might check them out. Also sometimes a society member will sell divisions or want to thin out their collection. What a great way to add something new without costing a small fortune getting started. I wish you "Happy Blooms & Lots of New Roots"
Thank you for the warm welcome. As much as I like them, I don't want to get carried away and get more than I have time and room for. I have a tendency go overboard when it comes to new interests. lol.
Right now my rescues have taken over my dining room table because of the natural lighting. As they come into bloom, I will keep the ones I just have to keep and give the others away as gifts to my co-workers. This has truly been a learning experience in having patience because they grow sooo slow. lol.
