Default New Orchid grower 1 Phalenopsis & 1 Dendrobium
I recently purchased 2 orchids--Placed then in an east facing bathroom window and began to watch them grow. I am an avid gardener, but new to orchids--thus I began to search the internet for all the information I could learn about my plants.

Welcome to the board and may I say we all started with one or two orchids. East facing bathroom sounds fine. Let us know how it works for you.

That;s the truth. Start with one and before you know it you're building a greenhouse to contain everything you said you wouldn't buy. Join an orchid society and you discover that all the members share when they repot and divide. The greenhouse is never big enough...mojo
