My name is Joe and I am from Wisconsin, zone 5. I started in orchids 6 years ago and now have about 100 plants, paphs, phals, oncs, catts, vandas. I grow in the basement under 1000W MH HID lights. The gro room is 8' x 10' and have had luck blooming all of the genera listed above. Right now I have a stanhopea tigrina that will be blooming soon for the first time. I am really excited about this one because I started it from seed in Oct of 2001. I am a member of the Wisconsin Orchid Society, AOS, and Orchid Digest, where in the recent edition I saw an ad to join the Orchid Board. In the next few days I will be surfing the sight to see all that is available.
