Keep an eye on the NOV website, every year (usually around the first weekend of october) they organize a NOV-dag in the botanical garden of Utrecht. It's an orchid show with both professional and hobbyist growers. The hobbyists usually have really nice plants, really cheap. There is another show in the same place around late may to early june every year, and that's all professional growers (dutch, german, and sometimes others). I go to both if I'm in NL at those times, but I prefer the NOV-dag!
