Another new guy. - Orchid Board

Hi everyone,
My name is Daniel Wilson (call me Daniel, Dan, or Danny, whatever you like). This seems like one of the better online communities, so it seemed like a good idea to join.

I'm a fan of the weird and wonderful plants out there, both Orchid and otherwise. I'm an amateur photographer, so some of my photos may show up on here from time to time.

Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of the community.

My first tip for ya: "call me...whatever you like" is asking for it

What 'chids do you have now? Are you growing them indoors or outside...or in a greenhouse?

We'll need to see pictures more than "from time to time"...they're just another layer to the addiction along with Orchidboard

I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. Where are you located?

I'm currently growing:
Lepanthes caprimulgus
L. tsubotae
L. ophelma
L. pastoensis
L. imbricans
L. gargoyla
L. telipogoniflora
Scaphosepalum andreetae and ovulare
Pleurothallis restrepioides
P. teaguei
P. teaguei x gargantua (yes, I know what I'm in for

)
P. canalingera
Masd. caesia
Paph. delenatii
Paph. purpurascens (probably, could be something else)
Phrag. 'After Glow' 4N
Phrag. longifolium x caudatum var. sanderae
I know I've forgotten some.

I grow everything but the Paphs and Phrags in a 24" x 18" x 18" terrarium. The others are grown on my kitchen windowsill.

I live in Santa Cruz, CA. I registered 25 minutes ago, so I haven't messed with the userCP yet, I will though!

Great 'chid list, paphs & phrags AND some terrarium growing! You hit the grand slam on Orchidboard!

Many of our members grow indoors and you have some list of chids there, a windowsill you say

Fill free to add that list along with what's missing or yourr future purchases to your chid list in "edit profile" scroll to the bottom...it's great your here...
