Default Hello, hello!!!

I have enjoyed the company of orchids for many years now, having been bitten by the bug at a very young age. Surprisingly I am horrible with Phals (beginner's orchids but not for me!). I am a through and through Oncidium fan! Especially the minis. From there I have collected a few others. Mostly for their green flowers!!! I love green.
Alas, through trial and error, I have lost and saved a multitude orchids over the years . I am still learning and I am still trying out and finding out new things .
Hopefully, this is the first step to becoming an absolute orchid fanatic! Until then... I am a happy enthusiast.

Welcome to the forum! We will love your input and pictures of your plants. And if you wish, here you can learn to care about Phals
I also think that green colored blooms are beautiful!

and welcome!

I am just now getting the hang of Phals myself, after trying for 6 years and also had my best success with Oncidiums for several years.
I too love green blooms, tho I only have a couple that get green blooms - a Cym, and a Catt (tho I haven't yet got the Catt to bloom ...)

Post pix of your orchids if you can - we all love to see them!

Will do!!! I finally got my Sharry Baby to bloom after 2 years of near-death. It was very exciting and now I am banned from my tiny apartment patio during the day because it attracts bees! >< But the smell that wafts in... Divine. It will be nice to share the pictures with other people who appreciate it as much as I do~

Helloand I am sure you will pick up some great tips on all kinds of orchids here. I also have always felt more comfortable with Oncidiums versus Phalaenopsis Orchids myself, and yes aren't green blooms beautiful!
