So hello all, I've posted a couple of times around here, but I think it is time to officially say

My name's Ysabel and yes, I'm an orchid addict I live in the wonderful state of Florida in Miami Beach.
I've been growing and collecting orchids for many years and have a very nice, large collection
I hope I can learn and contribute to this great forum.

I think we have quite a few members in Florida, it seems like a good place for growing orchids.

Hope you enjoy orchid board. You will find we're really friendly and everyone is always willing to help, so I'm sure you will. There are a lot of photos of all sorts of orchids in the threads, we love to share pics and that's what I enjoy most... of course seeing them all just means the wish list goes up and up

Welcome to orchidboard Ysa. I think I may have met you last year at one of the auctions. Are you originally from Venezuela? To see if it rings a bell I have blond hair and blue eyes and was with my sister in law, who is chinese-jamaican. Ring a bell?

Welcome Ysa and as Lovecats says you really do have a great enviroment for growing "the warm" orchids. I remember as a kid when my parents went away I was supposed to water the orchids. I did not always do it and they were fine any way. This was in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
