Hi Tom,
Nice to see you at the meeting last night. I use a Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro lens for shooting most of the smaller orchids. I use it, by the way on a Canon 7D DSLR.

Welcome to OB. Sounds like you have a good eye for the bargins. I have found several good plants that same way myself. Are you using natural light or artificial?

mainly just natural light but I am now adding a few hours with lights as the days are so short now
