Hello Everyone,
Wanted to introduce myself and stop lurking. I am Ginger, a rather new orchid grower, I've been trying to grow orchids in the windowsill & under lights for the past year and have a modest collection. It all started with one gift of a noid phal; I know that's a story we've heard before I am now totally hooked on orchids and somehow keep finding more space for them inside my home. I'm retired, married (45 years to the same man) we have an adult daughter who we're very proud of, a crazy but wonderfully loving dog, sweet quarter horse, 55 gallon tank of hostile cichlids and lots of hobbies between us. I've recently taken up photography and that's connected with wanting to have pictures of my lovely orchid blossoms.
Am look forward to getting to know you all and learning more and more about orchids.

What part of Virginia are you from? My brother married a Virginian and got married in Virginia Beach so I've been overthere a few times - lovely part of the world.
