Welcome! 19 and only 17 orchids? You should at least keep up with your age! I'm 61 and have about 80.

I would love to have two more and have been tempted many times but I'm running out of window space. Orchids aren't the only plants I collect. =D

I'm glad you all liked the pictures. Is there a different place I should post them or can I add more of my orchids over time? My Heaven Scent keeps putting out buds, so I'm taking pictures of those when they open.

Also, where could I post pictures of orchids I've taken at botanical gardens?

We are generally quite relaxed about where you post and if you want to add them here that is no problem.

However I would suggest you post pics in somewhere like 'Orchids In Bloom' or if not in bloom pick the apropriate alliance area (if in doubt which is the right one just take a guess, no-one will mind if you get it wrong and a moderator can always move it).

I would probably pick either 'Orchids in Bloom' or 'Orchid Lounge' for botanical garden pics as well (depending on whether most are in bloom or not). I can't actually remember where I posted some like that when I visted one, again we are quite relaxed about it here so don't worry too much. If a moderator thinks they are in the wrong place they may get moved but no-one will mind. We would far rather you post them somewhere than not at all
