Intro, I guess! - Orchid Board

I thought I'd introduce myself since I am sure I'll have questions! My name is Jenny...and I'm from Wisconsin. I have three orchids... I purchased my first orchid earlier this year (a couple months ago, I think) - it was not in bloom, but has been growing a new leaf since I got it. The second orchid I got was within the past few weeks... Both are phalaenopsis (although the first one I got has much smaller leaves than the other one). And just about a week ago I fell in love with a miltonidium rosy (or rosey?) sunset. So I have been bit by the orchid bug!

Sounds like you're in the right place. Do post a few pics of the collection when you have a chance. Folks around here do love ogling orchids.

Don't be shy about asking questions, this is a very active and informed group - chances are someone knows the answer, or knows how to get the answer.

now I just have to keep them alive! We are coming into fall and before I know it, it will be winter, and I seem to have a real hard time getting my plants thru winter.
