folks, i had the chance to visit MSB last Saturday and I bough a Phal lueddemaniana, Paph from Mindanao & Paph from Palawan from the seller in greenhouse # 3. Also bought a compot of Phal, and a mix of the 3 for 100 seedling (1 white phal, 2 catts) from the store besides near rain forrest garden.

how much did you shell out for phal lueddemaniana? 
would those paphs be paph adductum amd paph hennisianum?
wishing for those phal labeled white with brown spot maybe when i drop by at MSBF next time |

all of those native orchids started at a price of 350 pesos (~$7). I asked if they have pictures of flowers and they pointed me to the owners location somewhere near purificacion store. The owner showed me a book with pictures of all philippine orchids. I then asked if I could get each at 200 and there you go.
yes adductum from mindanao & hennisianum from palawan. the mottled leaf one from cebu I'll get the next around.
that phal must have been the stuartiana. I believe I have them which I got from Bohol growing keikis like wild mounted on trees and driftwoods. If not stuartiana that I have must be schilleriana. |
