Default New to the orchid board. Hello everyone!

I got my 1st orchid about 10 years ago. Killed it pretty quick! Few years went by and I tried it again. Yet another demise... Then 4 years ago I had to try it again. I neglected it(Onc. Sherry Baby) quite a bit and for some unknown reason(then) it thrived. The nursery I purchased it from was having a class on orchids so I figured I would attend. I learned a good bit. I purchased a few more plants and some books. I have done quite well since then loosing only 3 plants in 4 years(no losses last year)! I have amassed quite a collection with many different cultural needs. I have 4 separate growing areas and working on building a 1000ft^3 greenhouse. I just became a member of my local orchid society this year too. (Tidewater Orchid Society)

Welcome aboard, Orchidaholic!
A great collection, but many many different cultural needs, as you said. How do you cultivate Cycnoches? Sometimes these catasetinae are hard to grow!

We would love to see some of your collection!

You have a Mabel Kanda! Your #51

I have new bud growth on mine but it seems to be stubborn producing a cane.
I just got it this year around Easter.
I am not sure if it is of blooming age yet?
Any hints?
