Hello from Carlisle, PA!!
Greetings all, my name is Evan and currently I am located in Carlisle PA, although only while not at school. I'm sure this is no shocker seeing how most on this site probably feel the same, but I love orchids! Not only for their sheer beauty but also their complexity and variety. I started my collection about a year and a half ago and am hooked. I only have 4 orchids to my name as of now, but I am looking into getting some jewel orchids or small bulbophyllum's for my dart frog vivarium. Anyway, I'm looking forward to expanding my collection and one day having my own orchid greenhouse!
Cheers
Evan

Hi, welcome to the Orchid Board. Glad you could join us. Joining- local botanical societies can help expand your knowledge & Collection. I also started my orchid collection in a quest to put interesting plants in my frog vivariums. Bulbous & jewel orchids are a great place to start. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I can try and get some pics up soon, only one of my phals is blooming, my dendros are both rescues from the lowes discount rack so they'll prolly need some nursing before they look up to par! I had no idea there was an orchid society near me, I'll pm you help to get some more info.
