*waves from New Zealand*
Hi there. I'm Samantha, long time lover of orchids, yet I only got my first (and currently only) orchid on my 17th birthday. I'm from New Zealand and have decided that I would like to learn more about these beautiful flowers.

Welcome to Orchid Board Samantha
You've definately come to the right place. If you have any questions just dive in and ask.
What sort of orchid have you got... if you don't know then the guys here should be able to help if you show a picture, at least a close enough idea to help you know how to care for it.

I have no photos of when it (Bifrenaria harrisoniae) had its flowers on last year, and its looking a wee bit worse for wear at the moment, however, I'll try and get some up by the end of the day =)

OK, Often it's a root problem.. medium could be broken down/degenerated, or too much/too little water;etc.. try and take it out of the pot & post different photos of the leaves, roots etc.. With all the advice you will get here you will soon get it back into shape! Good luck & Happy growing!
