Hello from Wisconsin!

My name is Kathryn, but everyone who knows me just calls me Kath. I have had a few NOIDS that have come and gone over the years. The usual Home Depot variety. I have always loved orchids, but never knew enough about them to keep them alive. About a year ago, my husband took me to Madison, WI for my birthday and we visited an orchid show. I came home with 3 beauties and promised myself that I would learn enough that I wouldn't kill them. I did lose one, but learned so much. I now have 30 or so and am hooked. I have found so much great information on the site and finally decided to join up. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi Kath! I'm sure many of us have started the same way! This is a great place to learn about caring for your orchids - mine have been (mostly) doing soooooooo much better since I joined! Everyone here has been so friendly and helpful.
