Default Hello From New Jersey

Hello everone,
I am new to your board and very excited to be here. I hava had orchids most of my life but only recently did I began collecting them. I have about thirty so far , from seedling to blooming size. They are mostly Cattleyas with some few exceptions. Most have and are presently doing well. For some reason I do not do well with Epidendrium. Eventhough they are to be easy growers and i like them very much.
Well, I will keep you all up to date and look forward to learning new things and meeting wonderful people.

Richard

Thank you all for such a warm welcome. I grow them indoors on the windows and front porch. I am starting to formulated a plan to get a greenhouse for them. This might take some time but I def. see it comming.

Welcome to the OB Richard. I went to High School in N.J. and had a really nice view of N.Y.C. from my window. Take care and show us some pictures.

Hello! I'm also from New Jersey, Southampton to be specific. Where are you located? You mentioned you have several Cattleyas, I was wondering where you get your plants. I'm looking to expand my collection but havent had much luck locally. Welcome to the board!

Hello!
I have purchased some from Waldor. I will be attending the Silva Shore Show which I believe is going to have alot of vendors. I contacted some of the vendors is advance to verify what they had available.
I also have some from Ironwood and have purchased many from Kawamotoorchids on Ebay. I hope this helps.
