thank you. i have been reading posts for a while and decided to finally join now that i have 9 orchids and some real questions to ask. i will be posting my plants later with some detailed questions.

Be very,very carefull now that you have 9 chids and joined ob your certinly doomed to end up with 18 then 27 then .....LOL my 3 chids turned into 30 this summer and I blame the OB .
But its nice to get balmed for nice stuff so take that all you enablers.

Welcome to the Orchid Board. Glad you were able to join. One of my professors, now retired lives in what he calls the 'Sticks'. Way up in the Appalachians. Anyhow, I wish I lived there, I would grow so many Masdevallias you wouldn't be able to see the house under them.

thank you to everyone that has responded!!! i really didnt think that i would get these many "welcomes"! i am very glad i found this board, everyone here seems so nice and helpful. speaking of north carolina, im leaving tenessee now to go to the n.c. coast.

p.s. im getting a new wide angle for my slr this week, so i should have my orchids posted soon, i have many questions about them and the state they are in.

i have a nikon d70s, and yes the lens is a semi-wide angle/macro.
