Default Thanks

Trdyl,

Thanks for the comments. Noting your location as Idaho, and your gallery, are you growing inside or somehow outside? I had several orchids with me in Tacoma, WA. in the 1980s, but had to return them to Florida when I moved (overland) to Alaska during October of 1986.

White Rabbit,

Thanks for looking into my question and sharing your reference as well. I've added to my growing collection of Orchid URLs.

Cheers,

When I am home, my Cattleya Alliance plants go ouside under a tree during Late Springe though early Fall. The others, Phals and a few vandaceous, stay indoors year round.

Interesting. I wasn't sure you'd be able to get anything under the trees, but I guess in retrospect it gets warm enough for some of your orchids under the trees. Here in the Jacksonville, everything goes under the trees when I can. And of course, I'm running out of room.
