New!
Hi! I've been growing my phal Baldan's Kaleidoscope 'Golden Treasure' for a few months now. Purchased it at BJs as it was just starting to bloom and it's been going ever since.
I'm using the original potting (looks like mostly sphagnum moss w/ packing peanut spacers). I use a spray bottle whenever the moss is a bit "crispy" feeling and not cool to touch. I'm also using miracle gro's 7-7-7 African Violet fertilizer.
And I just ordered my next two phals from Oak Hill Gardens. More about those in another thread -- I have questions!

Aboard...the OB is the best place to learn and tons of information awaits. Sounds like you have the orchid bug...sweet. Phals produce awesome looking blooms and if taken the right enviroment will bloom and re-bloom (within the same year) year after year. The gallery is where you can upload your s, we are lovers of s here at the OB as you can see when you stroll through other members galleries...so grab a seat and come hang out at the OB...glad your here....
