Default New 2 orchids

hello

i grow garden variety plants and some others, but am new to orchids. i found the little fairy slipper orchids growing at a friends cabin in central oregon and decided to transplant a few. they seem to be doing well.

then while in a hardware store they had two orchids marked down, probably cause their flowers were dying, so i bought one. might go get the other tomorrow after class if she is still there. a yellow cymbidium is what i got, the other was a purple phallenopsis (phonetic spelling).

im pretty intrigued by em now and hope to expand my collection. im gonna browse and see what i can learn on here.
peace!

question: does anyone use mycorrhizae additives with there orchids?

Welcome aboard. I think it's interesting your ask and I check the web and it show's it's a bio-inoculants tested in some plants. I am curious if anyone tried to use this in growing orchids.
