Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I will definately go to the nursery today and pick up some supplies....One of the lower leaves shriveled and died...but I think I read somewhere yesterday that as long as its not the top ones that it may be due to normal aging of the plant?

Best way to tell whats going on with your leaves is to look at the roots. That might sound weird, but it's really true. The roots should be firm and white (sometimes they are a little green, thats ok too) as long as they are not black or mushy. Or worse yet totally rotted off. If your going to the plant nursery today I'd recommend buying a nice clear pot if the plant didn't come in one. It's really useful in telling when to water.
