Gday from new Aussie Orchidboarder!
Hey,
I have a been a non-active member of this forum for a while, but have never posted. I have been a member of another forum for about a year, and recognise some names on here from there (hey guys).
I come from South East Queensland, and live rurally with my hubby, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 3 fish and 40-odd cows. And a green treefrog that lives in the bookshelf.
I have grown orchids for a couple of years and have a nice little collection of about 120, but this is expanding slowly.
I look forward to meeting everyone on here.

You are most Welcome here! I have seen that you aussies tend to have a whole different set of orchids than we do here in the states. Probably due to trade restrictions on plants etc.... Can't wait to see what you have in your collection.

Welcome. I am coming to Oz in a couple of months - Western Australia then NW QLD to the cattle station where my daughter works. I shall be looking out for whatever orchids I can see and understand there is an orchid garden somewhere near Darwin.

You won't be able to see the orchids near Darwin from NW Qld Richard and you won't see too many orchids growing in NW Qld either.
