I may have to pick your brain some on greenhouses. I'm running out of room in the house.

I got photos of my 4 blooming plants posted to My Gallery last night. I assume that NOID means a plant with no name?? I have a couple of those. The mystery dend. nobile is posted also. Maybe someone can give me a lead on the name. I asked DS at the show if he liked it and his reponse was "It's too girlie." LOL It is kind of frou frou, but I just love it. I have another dend. nobile that is about to bloom. It's called Frosty Dawn and has a white flower with an orange lip. It's very fragrant. I'll snap a pic as soon as it pops.

After I went to the orchid show I stopped by Harry & David's Country Store. They always have a nice selection from Nurseryman's Exchange. Unfortuantely after the plants stop blooming they stop watering them and they are left to die. I picked up 2 phals for $9 each that have secondary spikes going. They should bloom in a couple of weeks. Nurseryman's Exch. has quit putting the names on the plants which I find very annoying. I have no idea what I purchased but they appear to be healthy, and perked up a lot after I watered them. I like surpises.

Hi Terri, welcome to the board. I had a peek in your gallery, you have some very nice orchids, especially the phal in your avatar.

Hey Quiltergal and welcome!
I too have other hobbies other than growing orchids, such as eating, sleeping etc

Shadow it really is a great deal. They're really large healthy plants too. What more could a girl ask for!
