Smile Intro

Hi! I just joined the board and I wanted to say hello to everyone. I am fairly new to growing orchids and I have become addicted to them thanks to my sister who lives in a different state. She sent me an Oncidium which was in spike. I think it is a Dgmra. Winter Wonderland White Fairy. It bloomed for me and lasted quite a while. It has since put out two new growths that are growing at an amazing rate! I also have two mature dendrobiums but I am not sure what they are. I also have a Paph. Macabre. I currently have a Brassavola David Sanders on the way as well as another dendrobium and a cattleya that are all blooming sized. I went crazy on ebay and also bought a bunch of seedlings that seem to be doing great....and no I do not have a green house...lol. I also have a few cymbidiums as well. I have most of my blooming sized orchids at work since I am there so much during the day, and my seedlings are at home. I have a question on my cymbidium that I posted before posting this intro so any advice is most appreciated!

Thanks,
Becca

Red face My seedlings

Hi Damian! The seedlings I have are:

Slc. George Hausermann York
Blc. Gold Bug
Blc. Orglades Grand Tian-Mu
Cattleya Little Irene X Knot
Cattleye CTNA Sogo Doll
Cattleye Mem. Robert Straight
Cattleye Intermedia
Cattleya lueddemanniana
Cattleya Hasegawara Red Stella Carmela
Lc Love Knot 'Coerulea'
Lc Schilleriana
Lc. Mary Elizabeth Bohn 'Royal Flare'
Dendrobium Copper Queen

I also have about 4 or 5 phal. seedlings that are crosses and are unkown to what they will look like, I don't think they have a name and I do not have access to the parent names at this moment.

And yes, I went a little over board!
I can't wait for them to all bloom someday. I hope they all make it as I am not at that stage where I am willing to forgive my self if one happens to not make it. But they all seem like they are in great condition and doing well so I am not worried.

What orchids do you have?

Becca

Overboard depends on whether you still have enough money in the monthly budget for food, bills etc

Thanks for asking about my orchid list, I just spent a while updating and revamping the darn thing adding bullets.. that'll teach me to update on the day I get a new orchid not wait till I have 10 to add to the list!!

There should be an icon next to the camera in my name above my message that'll lead you to my list.. I think I have about 120-40 plants...
