Actually I don't think these should be potted in cactus mix - I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong
Like many orchids, and Christmas Cactus, they are epiphytes. My Christmas cacti are potted in fine (terrestrial) orchid mix, with fine and medium bark chips, and perlite. I think many people also use regular potting mix. I don't remember exactly what I potted my epiphyllum cuttings in - maybe peat moss, compost, perlite, and "used" orchid mix.

There are quite a few websites with care info for these types of plants - obviously whatever you have been doing is good!

I agree, keep it in orchid mix because these are epiphytes like orchids are.
