Default second timer with orchids
Hi, my name is Isabelle and i live in Montreal (Canada), I used to have a few (5-6) Phalenopsis that I have lost after my vacations in the carribeans. I told the person taking care of them to NOT water... but they thought it was dry and water them so I lost them all.

I just bought 2 new ones this week; one is a Phalenopsis and the other I am not sure. I saw a few alike on this site and on the site of the botanical garden of Montreal.

I am sure I will learn a lot on this forum, I really don't know much about orchids; guess I was lucky with the ones I had before; they used to flower about twice a year.

Hey, welcome to the boards. If you posted a photo of the plant you are unsure of, I'm sure there are people on this forum who would be willing to assist you in identifying it.
