Newbie first post
Hi folks, I have just registered and I am looking forward to start a new hobby. I am sure that from time to time I will need assistance and I think this the best place to learn how to care for the mystic orchid.
Best regards to all, Harry

Harry. I'm sure you will love this place. Everyone is so helpful. If you have questions, please ask. I sure someone will have an answer for you, or tell you where you can find the info you need.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I am negotiating the sale of my first choice of plants. I have seen some Ludisia; the foliage looks very good and I believe they can be treated just like any house plant so I intend to start with something simple before getting involved with the more exotic species. Harry.

Hi Harry - I'm sure you will enjoy OB and learn a lot here - I sure do and have
I myself have had difficulty growing some of the supposedly 'simple' orchids, but others do ok for me - so even if you have trouble with something that has been called easy to grow, don't be afraid to try something else!
Everyone here is very helpful, so don't be afraid to ask questions, or share your successes

Monsieur Lapin Blanc, thank you for the tips and encouragement. After reading some of the posts on the forum I am sure that this is the right place to be.
