Orchid Newb Saying Hi. :B
Hello! I just received a Doritaenopsis Sogo Yenlin from my sister. Knowing about Phal Orchids, I placed the Sogo Yenlin in a Sphagnum/Perlite/Bark mix. I water it distilled water every week morning, and it receives light from a roof light. Anyway, I hope to learn much about Orchids, and expand my collection albeit more when I become more familiar to the types or orchids and their care. Wee!

Welcome to this site. You'll find it is very helpful. On another note, I don't quite understand. Are you watering once weekly or every morning? Once weekly should be plenty.

Welcome to the Orchid Board. SOunds like you are starting off right with your Phal. But be careful, that plant will probably be the introduction to a very deep and long addiction to Orchids,
