Jeffery, great Phals!!.All the information you can find about this show is on web site Santa Barbara International Orchid Show It starts on 12 and ends on Sunday 14.I am from Conejo Orchid Society and we are going to have our display there.Coming in to Santa Barbara there is a big sign Earl Warren Showground and I believe it is a Las Posas exit but you have to find out for sure.

Welcome to the OrchidBoard!

Wow, that's really cool you live in Glendale too! There are quite a few orchids that we can grow outside year around in our area. For an excellent article on the subject I highly recommend reading Growing Orchids Outdoors in Southern California by Susan M. Stephenson.

If you are interested in seeing some orchids growing on trees you are welcome to come over for a tour of my orchids. Just send me a private message to schedule a time.

Another great resource for all So Cal orchid growers is the group on flickr and the page on facebook. If you ever have any location specific questions you are also welcome to post them in the SoCal section here on the OrchidBoard.

That upcoming Santa Barbara show that ewcia1028 linked to is one of the best orchid shows we have here in So Cal. I'll be there Friday seeing if ewcia1028 didn't purchase all the overgrown specials on Thursday afternoon.

We had a little thunder here in Glendale, but it sure rained like crazy, did you hear about the tornado in Long Beach in the last storm we had?
