Welcome, T! If your Dendrobium is a nobile type it should be fairly easy to grow in a windowsill. I have a number of species and hybrids in the same section as nobile that I grow in windowsills without much difficulty. Humidity shouldn't be an issue with these unless it is exceptionally low. The biggest challenge you may have will be providing enough light; it'll definitely like a good bit more than your Phals and Oncidium intergenerics. Here's a link to a website that has good culture information for this type of Dendrobium:

Yamamoto Dendrobiums Hawaii

Hope this helps, and have fun!

Welcome aboard. You have quite an assortment of plants. About the dendrobium...if you have a nobile type they require plenty of water during the growing season, then a cool down in the fall (at least 3 consecutive weeks of 45 degree temps.) and then stop watering and bring them indoors. It takes a while but the buds will sprout from the canes individually. If it is a phalaenopsis type they also need a cool down but water year round.

Mine are growing in a south facing window during the winter and doing very well. I water every 10 to 2 weeks during the winter. Hope this helps.
