Welcome Gail
you've taken the first step, acknowledging you have a problem being a bulbophyllum addict
Do you grow Cirrophetalums [crap spelling I know ]
as well?

I've recently found out that lots of Bulbos are now Cirrhos and lots of Cirrhos are Bulbos now. Too me, they are all the same. Way cool orchids
Take a look at this website
Their english website doesn't seem to work so stick to the French version:

Thanks for the link Tindo!
I'm sure many bulbs or cirrs would make a great, if not stunning addition to a viv. Do you have any in yours?

are any of these in your viv or are you thinking about putting one in your viv?
I have Bulbophyllum lasiochillum in my jebo [2ft fishtank] and it has responded very well to the extra heat and humidity and has actually put out new shoots..
Also in there are Cirrhopetalum pulchrum and 2 Bulbophylum rothschildianums one establishing fantastically on a terracotta tile!
I love the Jebo I can put almost anything in there [well except maybe a cymbidium because it wouldn't fit! ] and it's guarenteed to do something- something good!
I just recently put in a tiny mounted 2 leaved Aerangis fastusosa which seemed to be in suspended animation [I can't blame it as I got it only a week after it had come out of the flask] but now it has put out a nice new root and is finally doing something

My B. lasiochillum in not in any of my tanks yet, as I need to make room for it. I hope mine does do well though. Glad yours does . The others are in the vivs, either just enjoying the conditions while they wait for me to mount them or already mounted and attempting to establish themselves.

Thanks Tindo for your reply I have run out of room in my Jebo tank. I'd like to build a really big vivarium like the one at poisonfrog.net and have lots of Bulbos in there.
Any idea on the size of B. lobbii BTW?
