Hello,

I am a psychologist living in the New York metropolitan area (Westchester County). I recently went to the orchid show at the Bronx Botanical Gardens and went crazy--came home with two, and purchased about 4 more online. I'm here in the hope of keeping them alive and thriving.

2. Phaleonopsis Amabilis v formosianum x Brother lawrence, also in bloom.

3.Cattleya walkeriana coerulea "blue moon"
4. Neof. falcata var. Amami
5.Oncidium Twinkle "Fragrance Fantasy"

Love your "tongue in cheek" description - 'went crazy'. You need to see someone

Seriously, welcome, and there are lots of good folks on the board down your way. I have a brother-in-law I wish I could get to frequent the board 'cause he'd love it here. His S.O. is a Psychologist in NJ. and both of them are orchid growers of long term.

I am more into Oncidiums/Brassias/Encyclias and we have lotsa good discussions here on care, etc. of the easy-to-grow families.
