You're just getting the official "Welcome to the neighborhood "

It's a very friendly community here at OB.

Welcome to the Orchid Board. Im in Queens New York, and almost went to the show. By all accounts it was good. I missed it as I had no time for it but there is always next year. ANd don't forget the APril 18-20 something show at Rockefellar Center in Manhatten. I went last year and loved it.

It is in sphagnum moss in the tiny pot it came in when purchased. I'm about to repot in a bark mix.

Hello and welcome to the board Susan. Nice collection you've started with, I was hesitate in the beginning too, I'm really just getting going over the last couple years, but I've had the odd orchid around for 10 years. We just got Oncidium Twinkle too, it's very pretty and grows like a weed, ours is a seedling and I think it has about 4 or 5 new growths coming on it.

Orchids are lots of fun, especially in a friendly community like this.
