Hi, I'm Louise and I'm a squirrelaholic Female
Talking Hi, I'm Louise and I'm a squirrelaholic

Well I'm sort of new here, I forgot to introduce myself so I though I may as well go ahead and do it now and get it over with
I just recently decided that it might be a good time to take care of that poor little orchid that's been sitting on my table for so long, and lo and behold, I got hooked, now I have 6!
I love them all to pieces and have even add shelves on my window to accommodate them.

And as you can see by the title, I'm also a squirrel freak, I'm now in the process of overwintering three babies, which have pretty much grown to adult size now. They will be 7 months old on Saturday.

This is what they looked like a couple of days after they got here...

Christmas...

and now...

It's official, you now ALL know I'm nuts!

Too cute. Welcome to the Orchid Board!! Nice to have you join us. The squirrels on my college campus are abundant and refuse to eat healthy. they do not eat fruit, and only go for discarded junk food. I wonder if they live longer than squirrels who live on nuts, do they get heart disease?

The only reason mine eat healthy is because they have no choice. They do get nuts but as a treat. Once they're on their own they'll know what to eat.

My wilds do the same to my dogs

They are going to be in an outdoor release cage for 2 weeks before I release them and after that the cage door will be open if they feel the need to return for a few days. After that I'm sure they won't look back and embrace their freedom

yup, I got a call from the spca in mtl about a shoe-box of tiny squirrels in a parking lot. They were dehydrated and thin when I got them but now they are little porkers! I can't wait until spring to see them run in the trees
