Default Hi all, glad to be back.

So, I have been away at least since June. Well, reason was, I was really busy.

So I graduated, got my Masters in Botany, Thesis on fossil leaves.

Then a few weeks later, got Married! Left for Vermont on Honey Moon.

A few weeks later, like any good husband, I left to a far away place. Well I left on field biology class to Africa. Specifically Ethiopia where I quickly surveyed the vegetation ecology of the country.

I've been teaching a few college biology labs since, and have continued taking courses (even though I should officially graduate, I can't help myself and defer graduation every semester in favour of taking another course ).

Just got back from Hawaii, and it was so nice over there!!!

So yea have been pretty busy, but I am back, I missed you guys!!!

Picture 3- Wet montaine forests of Ethiopia, our camp out.
Picture 4- Awash national park, where they found Lucy
Picture 5- Traditional dance
Picture 6- The giant Lobelia. Not a tree, we here in NYC have many Lobelias, including L. cardinalis, This was on a 6 hour hike at 4,000+ altitude -- there was no oxygen! P.S., for those of you who don't know, I am 6'1" tall.
Picture 7- Red hot poker, another native of Ethiopia. Very pretty in the very high altitudes
Picture 8- Hippos, southern Ethiopia
Picture 9- The rare Ethiopian Wolf, one of the most endangered mammals on Earth
Picture 10- Hawaii!

Gosh Tin...couldn't you have taken some interesting pictures to show us?

We've missed you, my friend!

Congratulations on everything...especially your graduation and your marriage! I can't believe the huge changes you've gone through since we first became friends

wow!!! Big congrats on all fronts man! It's understandable too...life gets busy and things need to be adjusted. Now you can catch up with Ross' posts..seems he's taking a break from OB due to the recent white page problems.

Ethiopia must have been very cool !!!

Oh don't know if you noticed but we have a article contest in progress. With your new master's degree I'm sure you can contribute a good one. Check it out.
