Hi all I just wanted to say hi and to tell you I love orchids. I currently have 18 orchids, phals, dens, onc. And two zygos. I grow them in my house in the window sill facing south with a sheer curtain up, and a humidifier running next to them. I am from Erie, pa.
Weather right now stinks due to cold spell going through with a lot of lake effect snow. my husband bought me my first orchid 18 months ago for my birthday and I have been hooked since it was a gorgeous white phal.

Yap I here ya, The weather has been fairly lousy, Think of it as trasnsition weather, we'll get there soon enough eh?!
Nice thing is, our orchids still bloom while all that mess outside is going on

My first orchid was a pink phal pink but the one that really started current obession was white with pink veining or whatever you call it
